Located in Zanzibar, Tanzania, Hotel Verde is the most eco-friendly luxury property that was completed in 2017. It is a luxury resort and spa project delivered by Arcedior that assisted Interior Designer JJ Poonawala, Jehan-Ara Poonawala. The custom design and specially created furnishing products are chosen for this hotel interior.
Design
Completed in just eleven months, this hotel offers 105 rooms, meeting spaces, an outdoor pool, and suites. Each room in this hotel has luxury accommodation with a private balcony and awesome ocean-facing views. With a unique design approach, this project is not only sustainable but also luxurious.
Products
With the help of her project manager at Arcedior, the designer is guided in the selection of products and vendors from across the globe. Together, they visited China in 2017 as well. Using the Arcedior platform, they also can select furniture from Chinese and Indian suppliers quickly.
After the selection of the customized interior decor products with sustainable and natural materials, they start to work on budgeting and estimations.
Interior
By combing awesome materials and furniture, this hotel can offer a luxurious experience with a sustainable ethos. Its sustainably sourced interior shows the real point where element, material, and furniture is purchased consciously. The design process for the interior also includes green principles so all operations in this project are continually assessed for improvement and eco-friendly.
