Located in Nova Lima, State of Minas Gerais, Brazil, Lincoln House is a tribute to the beautiful nature surrounding. This house is a 2009 residential project by Gustavo Penna Arquiteto & Associados. Articulated as in colonial houses, the living spaces inside this house are cozy and spacious.
Design
One can enjoy the awesome view of the mountains that undulating up to 60km in the landscape. This house is a square with a glass cube in the center, playing with air, clouds, light, and distance. The living spaces inside are cozy and spacious, articulated as in colonial houses.
Spaces
Any space of this house participates in the movement of the whole and there is no place for solitude. Through the bridge over the water mirror, the arrival proposes a kind of ritual: a purification of what we feel, what we see, what we are.
