Located in Brighton, United Kingdom, this single house is designed for a young family who wants to have a playful and full-of-life living place. Cosham Street Brighton is 458 m2 in size with curved walls of reinforced concrete that frame the building. This project has been nominated at the 12th Annual Bayside Built Environment Awards for the Most Creative Design.
Design
This house is also designed with an awesome certain character that represents the active lifestyle of the family. The first step is a renovation that transforms this house into a totally new house with curved walls of reinforced concrete that frame the original building of the house externally.
Structure
There internal bridges inside the house that join wings surrounded by two storey voids. After the family finished lounging by the pool, they can enjoy their free time and relax in the wave-style pool house’s shade. This house becomes not only a living place but also a place to relax and feel comfortable after busy activities outside.
Details
From the outside, this house looks awesome and big with its size and its white appearance from the outer walls. The glazed walls allow the family to enjoy the outside and pool view from inside the house.
