Located in Paris, 15ᵗʰ arrondissement, this modern apartment offers unobstructed views of the city. Sacha is a modern apartment for a young Parisian family, designed as a result of the combination of two identical overlapping apartments. It has double exposure with a soft and natural interior on each floor and room. This apartment is designed by SABO with 1,658 SF / 154 m² in size.
Rooms
On the lower floor, the bedrooms are gathered and also protected from the neighboring noise. The residents can enjoy the unobstructed views of Paris on the social upper floor. The main level of this apartment is used as a single open space where the areas are defined by some materials: existing concrete, white resin, and baltic birch plywood.
Details
Using a large sliding wall, the eat-in kitchen can be partitioned off easily. The family cat home is located on the main floor, entering through the dedicated arched openings. These openings are designed within the kitchen cabinets and sliding partition.
There is a curved around the spiral stairs that keep it away from the private rooms of the apartment below. There are also pegboard walls in the master bedroom, living room, and entrance to allow for flexible storage and display. These walls provide the residents to have a more functional room for everyday life.
