House in Mariampole: A Large Living Place with Modern Interior and Interesting, Colorful Elements

In 2013, Ieva Prunskaite and Egle Prunskiene from Prusta Ltd Architecture and Construction worked together to design the interior of a large house in Mariampole. The large size makes this house is very perfect to have a modern interior with interesting, color elements. It becomes not only a comfortable house but also an awesome house with a stylish interior.

Interior

In the main area, the attractive kitchen will amaze everyone who sees it. This kitchen has a modern interior design in black and wood color design. The combination of those two elements can be seen in the kitchen stools, kitchen cabinet, and also the kitchen island. The floor is silky with the same color tiles ad the stool legs. The marble dining table also becomes a focal point for the dining area in this house.

Details

In the opposite area from the kitchen and dining room, there is a modern living room complete with some interesting, colorful elements. The background color is white with some colorful decoration like yellow pillows. Behind the white sofa, there is a small black staircase and also a unique big shelf.

Elements

The unique big shelf becomes one of the interesting and colorful elements of this house modern interior design. The shape is irregular with colorful yellow and purple background on some parts of it. Other interesting elements also can be found in the master bedroom with the wallpaper on the wall behind the bed and also inside the bathroom.

 Rooms

In the bathroom, the tree patterns are used to beautify this room wall. The color of the pattern also matches well with the white bathtub and sink. The darker look of the modern interior design in this house is located in the kitchen while the living room is more bright with white furniture and wooden ceiling.

Colors

The architect tries to not combine the bright and dark colors in the same room inside this house. When they use bright colors in the living room, then the other rooms will have a darker color theme such as kitchen and bathroom. In the second bathroom, the large black tiles are used together with patterned brown marble, creating an awesome with the white toilet and sink.
