Waikato Hospital – Meade Clinical Center is located in Hamilton, New Zealand and it looks to the future with the highest level of care and technology as well as quality clinical space for the patients. Chow:Hill was appointed to deal with this world-class healthcare facility.
The Waikato Hospital project formed part of the overall Service and Campus Redevelopment for Waikato DHB previously designed by CJM joint venture of Chow:Hill, MSJ, and Jasmax.
The firm renewed and expanded a wide range of clinical spaces throughout the whole Waikato Hospital site. The developed clinical spaces went with vibrant interiors invaded by natural light.
The spaces included a neonatal and birthing unit, clinical space for a consolidated outpatients department, emergency department, operating theaters, nuclear imaging [involving ex-rat, MRI, Angio department, CATH, and Ct], forensic mental health units, HDU and ICU, and occupational therapy departments.
