Chow:Hill was responsible for developing PwC Center. Located in Hamilton, New Zealand, the building is a 5-level commercial office and retail building served as a gateway between adjoining WINTEC tertiary campus and city center. PwC Center is also the firm’s first 4 Star Green Star rated building.

In this project, Chow:Hill incorporated a public plaza for Hamilton City, enriching the city even more.
Since this building and plaza acts as a gateway for the tertiary campus and city center, the project went with the name CityGate to match the concept perfectly.
Successful Long-Term Asset
PwC Center is developed to be a successful long-term asset that responds to the needs of users. That being the case, the firm made sure the flexibility of the spaces for business over the lifecycle of the building. It was also integrated with environmental sustainability.
Enrich the Social and Culture Dimensions
The design was inspired by the social and cultural dimensions of the City. Such comprehensive approach allows the building to be used by not only business people but also students and the wider community.
