As of date, the large development has entered the first phase. The project also includes the development of a new subway line in Beijing. Meanwhile, the firm’s scope of the 3-acre site includes landscape planning and architecture as well as design development.

Poly Future City

Poly Future City is a sleek sales center featuring an interactive landscape with water features punctuate its pavilions to boast WiFi.

It also exists to provide heated seating as well as power outlets and all solar-powered system.

The futuristic elements in Poly Future City were incorporated in the building through the use of stainless steel finishes and light fixtures.

Establish a Sense of Place

Focusing on the temporary building and landscape, SWA dealt with design elements that create a sense of place.

The firm also used paving, lighting features, and topography that reflects the site’s mountainous context.

A Whimsical Air

At the front, the property is characterized by a tiered water garden in which the guests can experience at varying levels.

To boast infinity effect, the firm opted for mirrored stainless steel finished, emphasizing the futuristic nature of the building’s development.

Firefly lights combined with wetland plantings were integrated into the water features, offering a whimsical air for this highly urban place.
