Hibinosekkei + Youji no Shiro designed HZ Kindergarten and Nursery in Okinawa, Japan. The firm has managed to incorporate Miyakojima’s tradition and nature into the facility design.

The characteristic of nature and tradition in Miyakojima can be seen through the wind, land, and light.

This is the atelier of the building where the children can hold their own workshop or other fun indoor activities together.

The dining room is open so that the children can feel close to the surrounding nature while eating their respective meals and interacting with the peers.

This outdoor terrace allows the children to play safely within the building and enjoy the sun at the same time.
