The Schaefer Branch Library is a 12,000 square foot facility constructed by LPA Inc in San Antonio, Texas. Completed in 2017, the library provides pleasant spaces and environment to cater to the community, regardless of their ages. It also serves as a gateway into San Antonio.

The Schaefer Branch Library was built on a land donated by a local landowner.
The library functions as a landmark for the local community as well as a gateway into San Antonio for those who travel into town via Highway 87.
A Full-Service Library
As a full-service library, the Schaefer Branch Library has spaces for children’s activity area, teen area, and adult reading areas. It also provides spaces for meeting and the library staff.
A Peaceful Environment
The library was constructed to have amenities that lure patrons to stay and enjoy the peaceful and pleasant environment.
With that being the case, LPA Inc created children’s play areas and outdoor reading porches.
On the west side of the library, there is outdoor amphitheater that also acts as a trailhead for a proposed trail through the neighborhood.
