Z Energy Office: A Workplace with Flexible and Forward Design in Auckland

STACK was appointed to design the new office for fuel distributor company, Z Energy. Finished in 2017 and designed on a 27,000 sqft site, the office is located in Auckland, New Zealand. In order to fulfill the client’s expectation, the firm aimed to bring the company’s brand image and vision into life through the workplace by integrating flexibility and forward-thinking approach into the office design in a special and unique way.

Every space exudes flexibility that delivers the company’s brand vision and passion for nurturing people and community as well as encourage their creativity.

Supporting Collaboration and Socialization

What STACK did to design the new company was coming with a series of spaces that people love to work in.

The spaces were designed for different kind of activities, whether it is intended for individual work or collaborative or social one.

The firm also adopted Kiwi-like shape for shared spaces, such as The Deck ( a flexible workspace in the sun), BBQ area, and The Refinery.

A Sense of Oneness

The architectural firm was able to create a sense of oneness by bringing the real-time communication and efficiency into one single workplace, that is Z Energy.

To top it off, the office provides a unique and enjoyable company culture that certainly makes people love to work in even more.

A Series of Awards

Due to the successful and satisfying design, Z Energy bestowed an award for STACK in their 2017 ‘Supplier Hero Awards’.

The architectural firm attained the award for ‘Have the Passion’ category as an appreciation to their capability of bringing the company’s vision to life in a very special way.
