Kunshan Science & Technology Park Office Building
Visible from the public roads, the Kunshan Science & Technology Park Office is seen as the representative of the whole park, greeting visitors who enter from the main entrance.
Considering this case, the architectural firm wanted to offer the design language that was highly representative and strict while following the standards of modern design.
A Simple and Clear Architecture
Consisted of 6 floors above the ground and 1 underground floor, the building adopts a simple and clear architectural design. It is free from unnecessary and playful addition as well as decorative elements.
The building also features the curtain wall system, presenting a collage of three types of stones in different shades of gray, textured and transparent glass panels, and operable glass windows. Overall, the mix creates a remarkable visual effect. In addition, the façade showcases a diversity of appearances depending on the weather conditions.
Remarkable First Impression
Move to the building’s atrium, it comes with a bright design, creating a contrast to the heavy monolithic building wings. Through this combination, the building induces a remarkable and significant first impression.
On another important note, the construction costs for the Kunshan Science & Technology Park did not exceed the average as the firm went with standard construction method and available local materials. Even so, they were still able to bring out a high-grade of energy efficiency in the building.
