Designed by HYLA Architects, Green Solution is a residential project of a 295 sq.m. house located on an irregularly shaped bungalow lot. This house is surrounded on three sides by small roads, aligns with the longest boundary along Daffodil Drive.
The first storey is slightly elevated, providing privacy for the outdoor terrace and swimming pool while visually screening the carport. A waterfall feature wall serves as a backdrop to the pool, and the outdoor spaces seamlessly extend from the timber deck into the living and dining areas.
The building’s curved end responds to the site’s shape, featuring a dining space for ten on the first floor and a curved walk-in wardrobe in the master bedroom on the second floor. The western elevation is clad in green copper, which extends horizontally to form a canopy over the pool terrace. The back and sides of the building are accented with a dark charcoal grey pebblecrete finish, highlighting the curved design.
Inside the second storey, there are two freestanding bathrooms are enclosed in 3-Form Ecoglass panels, surrounding two lush outdoor landscaped courtyards that bring light and ventilation into the spaces.
