A’ Design Awards 2023-2024 Winners Announced

A’ Design Awards & Competition has announced the best designs of 2023-2024. There are 1642 Winners from 114 countries in 151 different design disciplines. All entries underwent meticulous evaluation by an internationally renowned jury panel consisting of esteemed scholars, prominent members of the press, skilled design professionals, and seasoned entrepreneurs. Each submission was scrutinized with great care and attention to detail before being voted upon.

Designer Li Xiang draws inspiration from the mission to safeguard endangered wildlife for the Meland Club Indoor Playground project, utilizing abstract mechanical designs, vivid colors, and animal motifs to spark a vibrant revival of nature’s wonders. Li Xiang blends architectural logic with mechanical aesthetics in interior design to dismantle the rigid boundaries of mechanical forms and replace them with dynamic rhythms that pulse with life.

Li Xiang is the founder of X+Living Architectural Design in Shanghai who won international recognition with a series of top international awards.

The inspiration for Yinchuang Zhong Shu Ge Book Store comes from the notion of intersection that symbolizes a powerful convergence where diverse paths and elements unite at a singular nexus. This bookstore embodies the dynamic essence of Ningxia’s cultural fusion with a focus on capturing the essence of this region’s allure through intuitive spatial design as the design ethos. Bookshelves crossing in mid-air is the striking architectural feature in this project.

The interior design of Royal One Private Club House is inspired by timeless concepts with two key pillars: Inclusivity and Harmony of the Circle and Integration of Natural Elements. The distinctive features are a private club designed for an owner and a comprehensive array of amenities spanning four above-ground levels and one below.

The interior design of Amar Beirut Restaurant finds its roots in a dual aspiration: infusing Warsaw’s dining scene with the allure of a museum ambiance while celebrating the richness of traditional culture that is notably absent until now. Situated within the sprawling 2-hectare expanse of the Norblin Factory in Warsaw’s Wola district, this restaurant breathes new life into a neglected relic of post-industrial architecture.

This amazing interior design project was designed by Marina Khalil, an experienced designer and speaker in international interviews and events from MK Design.

The design team hunted for fallen dead trees in the forest and transformed them into decorative columns by slicing and encasing them in glass. Each space within the store is meticulously crafted to evoke a sense of exploration and connection with nature, offering a unique experience for outdoor enthusiasts and loyal brand aficionados alike.

Artifact Bar is a hidden speakeasy bar nestled behind a secret passage in BaseHall, Hong Kong’s latest luxury food hall located in Central. Drawing inspiration from the rhythmic and repetitive patterns of surreal geometry and the tranquil ambiance of underground cisterns, Artifact offers a mysterious and captivating escape, inviting guests into a unique and unforgettable experience that feels otherworldly.

This bar’s amazing interior design was designed by Nelson Chow for Hong Kong Land.

Yangguang City No.9 Residential House emphasizes optimizing space by arranging functional layouts for efficient traffic flow and incorporating aesthetic principles into practical design. Inspired by FengHuang, the immortal bird in Chinese mythology symbolizing balance and harmony, the design features orderly wall shapes reminiscent of a breeze through flowing phoenix tail feathers.
