Souken Home completed a residential project of a family house in July 2018 for Mr. H and his family. A Small House with A Strong Family Atmosphere is located in Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan. It sits on a 147.98 m2 area.
Previously, Mr. H lived in a 2LDK apartment. The birth of his third child makes things more lively. That’s why the focus of building their new home is about creating a strong family atmosphere. The ideas for the structure of the roof and exterior walls come from Mr. H while the interior design from Mrs. H.
The LDK (Living Dining Kitchen) shows an awesome combination of old and new as if it was renovated. There is a chest with a strong presence in the dining area. The interior highlights in the kitchen are the mortar on the kitchen counter and the tiles next to the stove.
On the second floor, the Tatamio corner is set up to allow the children to play with their friends. A built-in washstand can be found in the bathroom. The exterior walls of the house are beautified by bell art while the roof is made of tiles. Wood and khaki-colored galvalume steel plates welcome one at the entrance.
