The location of this new store is built in 2,900-square feet of an area. The store is located on the Central Avenue, right on the north side of the Phoenix’s downtown core. This new store can be found easily because it is located near the famous destinations in the city, Lux Coffee and Pane Bianco.
The modern and contemporary design comes from the accessories and furniture which are chosen carefully by the architect. Woods, leather, fabric, and aluminum are the dominant materials. The additional lighting is added because of the high ceiling.
The architect creates the elements to design the building, especially maximizing the interior space too. The elements can support the interior to make a visually interesting exterior facade. The wing walls are made from a tilted concrete and the use of foam banding can create a layer illusion to give a human scale.
The offices are designed with the latest information technology. With a 1.35m grid, they are extendable and also adaptable. The users can use the offices as a mixed office, open office, and cell office. Each floor also can be used as two separate renting units that linked to each other.
The exterior has a silver facade as its elegant color. It is designed by large-format slats. This kind of facade design is also used to build the interior, especially the ceiling part with some awesome lighting designs.
The workplaces are made in an open space design with some ergonomic desks too. The desks can be adjusted on some levels. The office also has meeting facilities with some functional rooms. The massive doors are made from blued steel, creating a private and sturdy feel to the interior.
Most of this office wall is dominated by a glass wall, including the door and the windows. The glass material makes the interior looks elegant. The incredible views outside the office building can be seen and enjoyed in working time.
The whole interior design in IndieBio Lab becomes a solution to make open work areas near the labs. It is also used to create a good collaboration between the rooms, including the break rooms. The interior becomes more flexible and also functional.
The building is designed with an open interior design concept to respond the office working methods. The interior is flexible and also interactive designed by PLH wit some varied types of workspace based on the individual editorial groups need.
Tree House has a strong architecture which is innovative. It has a great dynamic line of its teak stone walls, the tree column branching structure, and also the courtyards.
MVRDV tries to design this store by restoring the space in it to the original form. They also make the shop looks compact by making a Rotterdam custom-built cabinet. This cabinet is made with a special design for the floor space, allowing the space to be used maximally.
