The driveway is separated from the garden and also the surroundings of the house with a 2.5m high retaining wall. This house building is situated on the garden level, a typical polish “cube – houses” built-in 1970’s. WIth the cube transformation, the house structure can be made in a new type that matches the modern house these days.

The design of the ground floor can resemble a rock form. The shaded garden is also created with the protruding ledge, merging with the living section of the house. A living-garden is made as a room between two worlds: nature and house. When warm days come, the indoor space can be merged with the garden after removing the glass partitions.

The construction of this house is monolithic and finishes with the unique clinker brick. The external walls of the house are made from brickwork, so does the garage gates. The house roof features hidden gutters and grey EPDM membranes. The interior of first floor and brick ground comes in white. The flooring is made from polyurethane resin.

By The Way House is designed as a modern and open house with its large space and beautiful white background. The living room, dining area, and kitchen are placed in one big space with the awesome view that comes through the glass walls. The bedroom is simple with one single bed and the same glass wall design to allow the view comes inside.

The architect and the owner of the house want to show that it is possible to build and design a house in a sloping area of the hill. With the right solution and a good design plan, this house can be a comfortable living place, getting a lot of benefits from the site too. The house turns into a perfect place to enjoy nature in a beautiful high area.

This house has a non-standard, characteristic house shape. The use of a quadrant motif can make this house reacts to the sun location. For this motif, an old device used to create a good position of the stars. A terrace is also designed to follow the sun movements by giving inhabitants sitting and allowing more sunlight into the interior in winter.
