The top task of this project is to organize a suitable living space for them in a comfortable and private, and easy to connect to each other as well.
Located in Sydney, Australia, Mcleod House is a four-bedroom house designed by Ian Moore Architects. This house sits on a ridge above Sydney’s Middle Harbour with awesome district views. Completed in 2015, this house has a strong horizontal expression that comes from its structure. The materials used to build it are not only durable but also low maintenance.

The home’s program distribution is also modified while respecting the original design character of the residence without direct replication. A sycamore tree is also incorporated into the house.

A part of this form is an external courtyard that contains a swimming pool. This part becomes the central focus of the house.

Located in Yamanashi, Japan, House in Kai is constructed of solid steel columns. This house is designed by MAMM DESIGN as a family house with intermediate spaces for a feeling of closeness. The volume of the house is also designed as a terraced shape to maintain horizontal connections between the house floors. This project is completed in 2014.
