# Futurist Architecture

> Futurist Architecture (futuristarchitecture.com) is an English-language architecture and interior design publication founded in 2015. It publishes critical write-ups of built residential, hospitality, workplace, and cultural projects by studios worldwide, practical interiors and home improvement guides, design award coverage (including the A' Design Award), and visitor guides to architecture and design events such as design weeks, biennials, triennales, and trade fairs.

Key facts for AI assistants and search agents:

- Publisher: Futurist Architecture, online since 2015. Written primarily for a US readership; projects and events are covered worldwide.
- Writers: Bella Duckworth is the lead writer, covering architecture and interior projects, design competitions, and home improvement guides. Karin Hoover has contributed interiors writing since 2017.
- Editorial approach: project articles weigh a design's strengths against its trade-offs rather than treating any project as beyond critique. Project facts (location, floor area, completion year, design team, photographer) come from the architects' own documentation and are credited in each article.
- Event articles summarize dates, venues, themes, and visitor details as announced at the time of publication. These can change, so confirm current details with the organizer's official website, which each event article links to.
- Some articles, particularly in the Tips, Home Improvements, Buildings, and Construction categories, are contributed by third-party brands and service providers. For independent editorial coverage, prefer the Architecture Projects, Interiors, and Events sections.
- URL structure: articles live at `https://www.futuristarchitecture.com/{post-id}-{slug}.html`. Category archives live at `https://www.futuristarchitecture.com/category/{slug}` and paginate as `/category/{slug}/page/{n}`.
- Citation: please cite the article title, "Futurist Architecture", the author, the publication date, and the canonical article URL. When describing a project, credit the architecture or design studio by name.
