Futurist Architecture

The industrialization theory is added with some air ducts that act like installation pieces inside the interior. It can provide an interesting view from the plastered walls. The existing high paneled stations of the open office are changed into honeycomb shaped free-address height, creating some adjustable stations to work. The high percentage of open lounges and meeting rooms are more available to be used in an easy way.

The building structure is designed with long sight lines. The architect keeps the space layout that makes the interior has a classical tranquility. Inside the building, there is a spiral staircase with a 6 meters diameter that stands out, attracting everyone who sees it.

The open workstations have glass partitions and lower panels, allowing the staff to be more comfortable in it. The brand identity of the foundation is also expressed in the whole space with a curved wood marquee wall and a media feature wall, showing the Foundation’s successes story through artwork and video.

The bar area is designed as a walnut with the custom-milled slats. The backdrop comes in a pixelated style with the image of Napa Valley, it is printed and also hand wheat-pasted. The interior is warm and also very welcoming.

Some characteristic elements are used by Fokkema & Partners to design the interior, especially for the common rooms, meeting areas, and the counters. The elements can create a diverse study and work environment.

The inspiration of the space comes from the “City of Steel” with the contrast of colors and bright white interior. The color makes the interior feels warmer complete with the materials and the industrial design that it uses.

The location of this new store is built in 2,900-square feet of an area. The store is located on the Central Avenue, right on the north side of the Phoenix’s downtown core. This new store can be found easily because it is located near the famous destinations in the city, Lux Coffee and Pane Bianco.

The modern and contemporary design comes from the accessories and furniture which are chosen carefully by the architect. Woods, leather, fabric, and aluminum are the dominant materials. The additional lighting is added because of the high ceiling.
