Futurist Architecture

This project needs to be designed in accordance with the proposed energy concept. The complex layout of this project is made based on the model of the compact village with some characters of the region ranches, where the accommodation blocks and utilitarian buildings are grouped to create comfortable places in the Patagonian desert and for protection against the climate rigors.

Some brands selected amongst others for this project are Foscarini, Tom Dixon, Fontana Arte, Fantoni, Horm, and Molteni & C. Now the interior of this house looks so luxurious and also elegant because of the design and materials.

The use of steel materials can be seen easily throughout the house while the white steel screen is used to highlight the lines and beautify the house face. The open design is also created for this project to support the outdoor living feeling.

Some access points into the home are organized around the driveway courtyard, providing a separation between the private music studio, professional photo studio, and family living spaces.

The guest cabin is 850 sq. ft. in size with a separated structure along the bluff lines at the east. This cabin has a second study/exercise room and two master suites that can be adjoined. While the garage/woodshop is used as a screening element which is simple from the distant roadways of the house.

The flat-screen panels, green roofs, and solar panels inlaid to the house entry floor. There are also a few of the custom features such as adjustable chain mail shade curtains on a trolley system, a Pickard steam injection pizza oven, mechanized fireplace doors, and triple-stacked bunk beds. These features are wrapped in an exterior of moss rock, steel, corral board, and zinc panels.

The exterior and interior of the house are connected by the operable glass hangar doors. These doors can frame vistas of the distant architecture, beach, landscape, and the lake. The east and west area of the house with the south-facing 12 ft. overhangs can mitigate solar heat gain and excess sun exposure while maintaining the awesome views at the same time.

KL House is stripped of moldings with a lot of room for the unique character of the natural cedar shingle. The volume’s cut part is covered with smooth cedar placks, creating a contrast with the textured shingle. This house also recalls some North Hatley villas by its sheet metal roof and natural cedar covering mainly.

Each window of the house overlooks a beautiful different landscape without any neighbors around. Besides the sea and dune views, the couple also can see some foxes in their house area. The roof slopes and the staircase movement can be a sculptural object in space. And from the upstairs bedroom, the couple also can enjoy the breathtaking views of the horizon.

The compact and square shape of this home also comes with a green roof. This roof is designed and inspired by the park of the neighboorhood, including the hatch for sleeping under the stars. ELLSWORTH is not only a project about a house renovation but also an addition of some house elements to create a comfortable and spacious living place.

The most interesting thing about this residential project is its green roof. This roof has an outdoor style with its usable yard and comfortable relaxing space. It also contributes to stormwater control benefits and energy conservation. The rooftop area in this house can be an additional space for the family gathering.
