Each space is a set space defined by its use with a very clear and simple architectural container. The first is the open bar with a kitchenette together with dressing rooms and restrooms. The second is the children play area that can be used as a reading room. The third is the largest container, a living area that offers an enclosed, tempered and comfortable space for TV, conversation, etc.
There are 5 modules for this house that used: Living Module and Terrace Module, Bathroom + Kitchen Module, Simple Bedroom Module, Matrimonial Bedroom Module, and in addition to a corridor throughout the front area of the house.
Just like other projects, THAT House is also designed with sustainability as its core. The passive solar gain is optimized into all north-facing windows and all windows in this house are double-glazed. There is no limited glass on the eastern facades and no glazing on western facades. High-performance insulation also can be found anywhere in this house.
The interior still has its continuity of the ceiling due to the use of glass and the strategy of low partitions. This way can create a unitary reading. Besides the wood, this house is also built with SIP panels to generate modular coordination in the construction elements of the house. The combination of the wood and these panels can deliver a comfortable and warm atmosphere inside the house.
This project relies on its geometry, especially for its struggle and strength. All the materials for this project are typical of the area, including the structure and the outdoor finishes of the walls. Due to the need in responding to the requirements, only the glazing incorporates thicknesses and technologies more typical of skyscrapers than for a project of single houses.
The top core of the house is a mezzanine. As a simple pavilion, the building opens in the summertime including the outdoor kitchen under a large roof. It is possible for the flexible outer shell to close the building using wooden shutters in various degrees to the surroundings of the site.
All house windows are double-glazed. The mechanical heating and cooling can be reduced with active management of shade and passive ventilation. The large water tanks are buried within the garden and all roof water is captured and reused to water the garden and flush the toilet. The real sustainability of this project comes from working and saving with the original build.
A magnificent view of the landscape is provided for the residents in each room of the house. During the days, the room is lightened by the warm lights and it also can give a dynamic character. At night, the house radiates this light to the surroundings and marking the house position in the landscape. All the modern comforts are integrated into the main living space with a beautiful open kitchen.
The intermediate space in this house becomes a mediator to provide a different category of use more than the interior. The house spaces are also used for informal relationships as much as the environment surrounding as among the house inhabitants. These relationships can create a good balance between the house itself and its environment.
Now the clients live in a harmonious space with real utility, offering easy coordination to study, work, and leisure activities. This house also engages with the clients in dynamic and subtle ways, continues to delight friends and family. It is a fun multi-level home without sacrificing practicalities and environmental considerations. There some spacees to be shared and also some spaces for seclusion. The house levels are modular, transparent, and split with dramatic and playful features.
Cool pastel shades are also used and applied to the walls to follow the psychology of colors, calming the large uncluttered spaces. An outdoor experience of the relaxing surrounding around is available through the doors that lead to terraces.
