The brief is to create an open space that is flexible for relaxing or entertaining while the structural steel provides a distinct design motif.
Designed for a family with two households, Three Generation House offers two separate apartments for a family comprising of two households. Located in Buiksloterham, Amsterdam, the Netherlands, this project is about creating a building for both families so they can enjoy each other’s company without sacrificing private family life advantages. While the building’s contrasting façades are emphasized by the gradient in the building’s plan.
Built and designed by KIENTRUC O for Chuon Chuon Kim Edu, Chuon Chuon Kim 2 Kindergarten provides a modern educational environment to captivate and also stimulate meaningful cross interactions amongst the adult and children. This kindergarten is located in District 2, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam with 409m2 of the plot area. Completed in 2017, the building is constructed entirely in bare brick forming patterns and openings like a giant Lego building.
Casa Suspensa or Hanging House is an interior project by Casa Container Marília located in Brazil with 2766 ft² in size. Completed in 2019, this country house is elevated from the natural ground level of the site where it sits. It is also surrounded by native trees so its balconies blend in with the branches of trees and the windows are level with the treetops. This house has a green roof with rainwater use and it is designed with recycled materials.
Located in Yangjae-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, South Korea, Stay_Soar is a multi-family housing project by studio_suspicion. This completed project is 286.81 m2 in size with 13 units in total and including 12 residential units and one retail on its first floor. The outer walls of this housing are designed with white stucco finish while the staircase is located outside with a non-skid landscaping paver chosen by the architect.
Located in Miraflores, Muros, Spain, this rehabilitation project is completed by Fuertespenedo Arquitectos in 2018. It is a 264 m² single-family home on a steep plot that was originally composed of two attached volumes. The project proposal for A Single-Family Home Rehabilitation in Miraflores is based on the understanding of the place, supported by original stone volumes and warm interiors that considered as a fluid space.
Designed by IFUB* in 2018, Hausfuchs House demonstrates the top-quality architecture under one roof with infill and ecology in Vaterstetten, Germany. In this awesome project, one plot is divided into two, and the existing single-family home is replaced with a two-family duplex. The all-timber construction in this project also complies with the most stringent ecological building regulations of the city.

Located in one-of-a-kind Israeli Arab-Jewish village at Wahat al-Salam/Neve Shalom, Israel, Neve Shalom House or SHN Residence is a completed project by Doron Sheinman Architect. This private two-story building is designed for a single-family occupancy that shaped in a ‘U’ around a celebratory entrance yard. With 190 SQM in size, it also has a wide, open, and well-lit space that creates continuity.
This big and modern residence is located in Sao Paulo, Brazil, a 2018 project of a residence renovation by Felipe Hess Arquitetos. With 780 m², Casa M is renovated and it also needs a great reform to update its interiors too. The metal structure of the residence is connected to the building structure while white is chosen for the design predominant tone.
