HOUSE ON THE CLIFF invites people to stay, a piece of artwork that respects its land’s natural contour with a swimming pool and a stairway as an evocative path. Designed by Fran Silvestre Arquitectos, this house has a concrete structure covered by a flexible and smooth white lime stucco.

The brief is to create an open space that is flexible for relaxing or entertaining while the structural steel provides a distinct design motif.

Located in Buiksloterham, Amsterdam, the Netherlands, this project is about creating a building for both families so they can enjoy each other’s company without sacrificing private family life advantages. While the building’s contrasting façades are emphasized by the gradient in the building’s plan.

Chuon Chuon Kim 2 Kindergarten: A Modern Educational Environment with Bare Brick Forming Patterns and Openings

Built and designed by KIENTRUC O for Chuon Chuon Kim Edu, Chuon Chuon Kim 2 Kindergarten provides a modern educational environment to captivate and also stimulate meaningful cross interactions amongst the adult and children. This kindergarten is located in District 2, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam with 409m2 of the plot area. Completed in 2017, the building is constructed entirely in bare brick forming patterns and openings like a giant Lego building.

Casa Suspensa: A Country House with Recycled Materials and Green Roof

Casa Suspensa or Hanging House is an interior project by Casa Container Marília located in Brazil with 2766 ft² in size. Completed in 2019, this country house is elevated from the natural ground level of the site where it sits. It is also surrounded by native trees so its balconies blend in with the branches of trees and the windows are level with the treetops. This house has a green roof with rainwater use and it is designed with recycled materials.

Stay_Soar: A Multi-Family Housing Project with White Stucco Finish and Outside Staircase

Located in Yangjae-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, South Korea, Stay_Soar is a multi-family housing project by studio_suspicion. This completed project is 286.81 m2 in size with 13 units in total and including 12 residential units and one retail on its first floor. The outer walls of this housing are designed with white stucco finish while the staircase is located outside with a non-skid landscaping paver chosen by the architect.
