A home for the client of this project is a place to retreat from the outside world. Glassbook House is a hideaway located in Tempe, New South Wales, Australia, designed by Sibling Architecture. This house is explored as a sanctuary with serious collection books in a two-storey bookcase. The southern glassblock facade can filter the daylight deep into the house interior.

Paraíso: A Weekend House with Two Major Openings and LCMX Interior Design

Paraíso is a weekend house located in a residential area near Cuernavaca, Morelos, México. It is a single-story house with two major openings located within a golf course with 350m2 in size. The intention of the main design made by Pérez Palacios Arquitectos Asociados is to create a sense of openness. Two major openings are presented with LCMX interior design that offers a contrast between the building’s materials.

Started in 2013 and completed in 2014, Herston Gardenhouse is a project of an infill-development located in Herston, Brisbane, Australia. The goal is to achieve a multi-generational home.

Calero: A Residential Project with A Centering Wood and Sustainable Construction

Completed in 2010, this residential project is designed by Pérez Palacios Arquitectos Asociados with 90m2 of the construction size. Calero is located in San Angel, in the south of Mexico City with a plot that has an existing construction made out of brick and tile. A new proposal with centering wood and sustainable construction is solved with the minimum materials, minimum cost, and minimum elements.

Designed by ACDF Architecture for DAVNIC (David Lafrance et Nicolas Barette), Chalet Blanche is a cottage residence located in La Malbaie’s Terrasses Cap-à-l’Aigle, Canada. With 4275 pi2 in size, the simple and pure architecture of this cottage gently complements the landscape of Charlevoix in a modern fashion. It also provides the owner with a convivial space to enjoy the beauty of nature.

From 2013 to 2014, REFRESH DESIGN has been completed a residential project located in a small site area. With a low budget and restrictions due to flooding, the concept of a cantilevered structure in Northern Rivers Beach House becomes unconventional. A very economical and bridge-like architecture is finally made to create a unique effect in this beach house.

Diaspora: A Single-Family House with Two Basic Frameworks and A Gable-Shaped Volume

Located in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, this single-family house is designed based on autonomy and flexibility in respecting the life of each individual. Diaspora is designed by L’EAU with two basic frameworks in 199.11 m2 of the construction area. This house also has a gable-shaped volume that positioned in consideration of the functions and directions of the rooms.
