Started in 2009 and completed in 2010, Van Rosendaal Residence is designed by Marc Boutin Architectural Collaborative for two ’empty-nesters’ who are avid community volunteers and also nevertheless very involved in the raising of their extended family. The design of this house is a simple and efficient volume while the main floor is experienced as an integrated and open space that lends a generosity of experience.

Located in Graton, California with 2,057 SF in size, Sonoma Farmhaus is designed by SkB Architects for a cycling enthusiast with a globally demanding professional career. The client wants to have a place that used as a retreat of solitude and a hub for gathering. Rich materials and textures are used to provide humanness, creating an icon of sustenance for the client.

Dry Creek Outbuildings: Transformation of Pre-Existing Buildings into A Cottage and An Office

Started in 2005 and completed in 2007 by Bohlin Cywinski Jackson, Dry Creek Outbuildings is a transformation project of pre-existing buildings that were structurally compromised and in serious disrepair into simply organized structures as an office and a cottage. Located in Northern California, this project introduces a clear relationship between the buildings and the site.

Clifton 2A: A Modern House with External Living and Entertaining Functions

With 1 120 m2 in size, Clifton 2A is a modern house located in Clifton, South Africa. Overlooking the beautiful Clifton and Camps Bay beaches, this project has been completed in 2014 by SAOTA Architecture and Design. This house also contains all external living and entertaining functions. The interiors are designed by Janine Lazard Interiors.
