Completed in 1991, this apartment building is designed by Jean Nouvel Ateliers for Société d’investissement Pierre et Vacances (SIPV) as the client. Located in France, Pierre et Vacances Residence consists of 174 vacation homes and other awesome facilities. The challenge of this project is the site where the building is built on the steep cliff.
Owned by a young family, Bewboc House is a suburban terrace house in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The family requests minimal intervention for this 3700 ft² house. Completed by Fabian Tan Architect, the approach is to re-imagine a form and to re-purpose the living spaces. This terrace house has a new form and also an arch roof that extends outwards.
After discovering this house for sale, a professional couple decided to move back home to Singapore. It is a 40-year-old house that was dated, tired, and dark with tight interiors. This three-floor house is located in Tokyo, Japan, designed by MAMM DESIGN. ondo is a 2015 residential project of a house with a café in a plot of only 38 square meters. This house also has a basement and a roof terrace. The vertical movement inside the house that changes dramatically used as an important aspect for this project.
Located in Wimbledon, the clients approached Stephen Fletcher Architects to transform their Victorian semi-detached house. The brief for Denmark Avenue is to extend and remodel it, which is completely different from the architect’s previous projects. This house is designed in a ‘period’ style that matches the needs of the clients.
Located in Bali with 557 m2 in size, Canggu House is a minimalist modern house designed by Martin Friedrich Architects. Bali now is associated with exciting luxurious Western Architecture with pleasing Balinese touches, not traditional timber shacks anymore. Through this house, traditional features can be reinterpreted throughout.
Located in Saint Clair, France, Passive House is a 2013 residential project by rhb architectes. It is a two-storey house with 191 m2 of the total size, built with a structure made of a wood frame and completed with a concrete base. There is also a thermal performance of this house that comes from its floor, wall, and floor glazing.
This modern residence is located in Divinópolis, designed by BCMF Arquitetos for a couple of doctors with three daughters. Residência Esteves sits in a closed condominium that has large areas of environmental preservation. The social and intimate areas in this residence are treated differently in the house’s prismatic volume. It is a 1999 project with 415 m² in size.
