Futurist Architecture

The house is divided into three independent volumes. The first is the garage with rectangular volume and low ceiling. The location is quite isolated from the house.

The architect also designs Mashomuck with a master balcony on the second floor of the building. This balcony is made by showing off the wood material of the building architecture complete with the glass wall to add a modern accent.

The vertical composition looks like the mature trees surrounding the house. This house also displays spatial composition overriding functionality.

The house offers an airy parlor floor living space as the key feature. The living space is bordered by bookshelves configured around the circulation routes for the client’s cats.

At the ground floor of this house, an open space exists as the main place for kitchen, dining room, and living room. This large open space has a pitched ceiling with some windows. That makes this space is filled with the natural light.

Martin Camp itself is the golf club and multi-generational ski which is located between Lake Tahoe and California, the area of historic Truckee. The natural slope is used by the architect to make 5.923 square foot house.

Before the project, the house came with a cramped and compartmentalized layout. So the first thing the architectural firm did was removing unnecessary partitions to provide a series of spaces.

The building was originally a single story home that has been enlarged with a new 24m-long raised floor. The new addition blends well with the surrounding greenery and reaches to the rear of the house. It also comes with a large garage situated on the left side.

PES Architects has successfully transformed a 98 m2 living place located by the open sea which was originally habited by otters before minks took over. Located in Porvoo, Finland, the property offers a sauna area as well as a cozy summer living in between the expansive sea and the nearby forest.

PH Plus (pH+) Architects is in the process of finishing a different type of Apple Store in Goudhurst, Kent, England. The firm aims to transform the old building into a multifunction property to house a family home, workshop, and studio.
