Futurist Architecture

The façade materials were specifically chosen to provide durability and warmth. The brick façade was painted white to merge the batches of ‘left-over’ bricks.

For this project, Moonshine won an award in 2009 from the AJ Small Projects Award. This house was also featured in the Grand Designs, Architectural Review, Dwell, Guardian, Sunday Times, Independent, and other books awesomely.

Lake House has a long sleek form that stretches from the back boundary of the building. It gives panoramic views of the lake. This project is also about extending the native environment into the property with a good planting. It will frame the lake views and the landscape.

In order to make the building merges with the traditional surrounding environment, the team arranged the roofs of the hotel complex in a regular way.

Timber acted as the dominated material used in the rooftop extension. Flax insulation was incorporated into the construction as well. All facades and roofing were covered with untreated Larch cladding.

The plan of Ashtree Passive House is made a good detail. It shows the size of the house, each room, and also the division of every area. This house has two floors and also a garage that can be used to put two cars. Some of the private rooms like bedroom and bathroom are located on the second floor.

The Trailer is clad in corrugated fiberglass and steel on the outside, while inside, it is lined in used but cleaned shuttering ply.

Folded Studio surely has a fantastic landscape. The large area with an open sky offers an adorable view around the studio. In the evening, the blue sky turns dark beautifully. And at night, the fantastic stars can be seen clearly with eyes.

The design of Zakin Residence is built in an efficient area. It will minimize the impact on the natural landscape around the site. The architect uses trees, natural landforms, and also native grasses extensively for this project.

The architect uses cantilevered sheets of flexible plywood for the 5 cm balustrade of the stair’s thin. The plywood is laminated and sheathed with the drywall. The curves create a complex geometry with the flat ceiling plates and the sloped.
