The new environment around this house becomes very interesting because of the Pettanko House design. This house can be a model case for local consumption from the local production, remembering how to use the source wisely. The customization of this housework with the terrain height differences, wind, light, snowfall, and orientation are the important parts to create that new environment.

The architect uses local production for local consumption as a building theme to give a good understanding of how important the energy reduction is. It is also about maintenance of the forest, so the architect enters a mountain forest with a builder, a forester, and a client in Hakone, starting a careful selection to harvest some trees. Those trees will be the beams and columns of Sasameza.

In order to create a harmonize with the landscape and rustic atmosphere around the hotel, the design of the wood houses is made with a contrast to the existing village buildings around. Woodhouse Hotel also blends smoothly with the landscape because of the facade that made from a carbonized wood that has an awesome texture and color.

From a distance, Laurel Canyon Boxhouse looks like a wooden box that beautified with a glass surface. This home has two floors that surrounded by a large part of glass walls. The ground floor is used to design some entertainment rooms like living room, dining room, and kitchen. The bathroom and bedroom can be found on the second floor, easily to be accessed by a wooden staircase.

The main goal of designing this Australian cabin is about creating a space that can maximize the awesome vistas of the hill around the cabin site. It also can create a good place to refresh and inspire all people who stay in this cabin. It becomes one of the best escape places in Australia to step away from the urban busy environment.

The main concept of this project is about designing an inspiring and dynamic residence which is different from any other residences in Chile. Casa Hualle becomes a Chic Nomad’s modern retreat for all people who come to Chile. Both the interior and the landscape can provide a truly comfortable feeling at the same time.

The design of Bolton Residence is inspired by the classic gable roofed barns that can be found in the region of the site. The result can create a simple silhouette, showing a rural atmosphere through the contemporary touch a zen-like neutral palette. This rural atmosphere can be made by using some special materials such as grey and steel, pure black accents, and also contrasting pale wood.

Just like any other colonial house, the use of wood dominates the design and structure of El Mirador. The ceiling is not high, so the exposed beams on the ceiling can be seen very clearly. The windows are framed with the same wood materials, so does the floor. Although the space of this vacation home rental looks smaller, the comfortable atmosphere inside is already enough to create a memorable holiday in Spain.

Harlosh Black H also has a little bit minimalist style which is warm because of the wood accents in the entire spaces. The architect adds a split-level open design that consists of some clean lines. Together with interior elements including the furniture, this holiday home can be one of the most comfortable places to stay around the great landscape.

Some areas including the walls and furniture are designed in beautiful wood materials. Most of the floors are made from tiles with a neutral color, creating a good balance with the design of the wall and ceiling of this beach house. The house is large with an open area that faces right to the beach area of Hawaii, allowing everyone to enjoy the amazing nature around the island.

Both interior and exterior area of this cabin is designed with some natural elements. Those natural elements can connect these two areas well. The outside wall is designed with some big rocks and vintage woods for the deck. Inside the cabin, some white beams are exposed to create a focal point between the white background.
