Located in the small village of Laggan, it is a conversion project that has been completed by Sandberg Schoffel Architects and Proudman Constructions as the builder. Laggan Church is a conversion of a historic church into a smart holiday house with contemporary design elements.

For this conversion, some contemporary design elements are inserted into the building to deliver a comfortable holiday house. This building has a farmers’ shed attached in the early 1940s while its starting life as a community church started in 1876. Until the end of the century, the shed was used as a sheep shearing shed.

The addition of a new layer of design and luxury can create a special and comfortable residence. The previous lives’ character has been retained as well. The joinery of the building includes a super graphic of a cross and color references to stained glass, reminding the occupants where they are.
