8. Proof of Creation Document

It is a service offered to all participants in a form of a paper document. This document explains the design, signed by the designer also two witnesses, and deposit at a third-party (A’ Design Award). It is an important document to help the designers prove that they are the design creator. This document also serves as evidence that the designers created their designs on a particulate date.

9. Winners’ Certificate

A’ Design Award certificates are provided for all winners and those who participate in the exhibition. The participants get various certificates in several formats. For the winners, there are two important certificates: a certificate for winning the award and a certificate for physical exhibition participation.

10. Award Trophy

A’ Design Award trophy is given to all winners during the gala-night. This trophy is distributed for free of charge to all award-winning designers and also jury members. The winners who can’t attend this award ceremony could request delivery of their winner kits and these kits also include the award trophies.

How Entries are Judged

The Grand A’ Design Award Jury Panel in A’ Design Award and Competition consists of 218 Jury Members. These jury members are composed of design professionals, press members, and academics who provide an invaluable knowledge base and insight to evaluate the submitted entries.

This competition also follows a peer-review process with anonymous voting and evaluation of entries which make it different from any other awards.

It is a product of a personal bond to marble that offers versatility, uniqueness, and naturalness. Slice of Jupiter is a round, sumptuous, hand-crafted coffee table that combines the mesmerizing green of Verde Guatemala Marble from India and the genuine black of Nero Marquina Marble from Spain that divided by a Gold Metal Leaf. The base of this table is made of solid brushed bronze.

This project is designed to fulfill dual goals: a sales office and a library later. The common key of Glass Library Lighting is the coziness of a place that will linger. The furnishings and fixtures come from the physical world while tone and wood dive deep into everyone’s soul. “Light” is the magic spell that creates a sense of being connected to the external world.

The split-level glass structure has a brilliancy that lies in the suppleness of ambiance lighting. The right kind and number of lighting utensils, their light intensity, and the angles of beams for this library are combined with skills, creativity, and experiences.

The external weather conditions will not overwhelm the interior lighting inside due to the use of other strong light sources and various skills to hold up direct sunlight. Located in Guangzhou, this project is designed by Licht. Associates Limited from Hong Kong (China).

For Casa Lupita Residential House, the combination of colonial and contemporary architecture is the main conceptual premise. The addition that was built during the 1960s is demolished and the nineteenth-century Casona is restored. This demolishing can give way to the layout of the traditional patio.

This house is located in Merida, paying a tribute to the historic neighborhoods’ classic colonial architecture. It also includes restoration, landscape, furniture, interior, and architectural design. It is an awesome house that offers new life to the historic site, integrating into the physical time and context.

This residential project is designed by Binomio Taller, a professional design agency from Mexico who believes architecture and interior design are one and the same.

The architectural concept of Terrafertil Headquarter Offices to promote the diverse and rich characteristics of nature through spatial components. The client of this project wants a close relationship between the design concept and the company’s motto. Taking inspiration from the organic growth in nature is the main strategy for these offices.

Using the company’s motto, the relationship between the physical environment and workplace is exploited. The uniqueness of these offices comes from a mix of open and closed spaces. In order to mimic the defined space and organic growth in nature, a system of organic draping wood forms is created.

For the office, the design prioritizes the feeling and flow of its users while the wooden boxes can gather people together, divide spaces, and creating hierarchy and privacy. The brand’s logo, products, and colors are used as the main inspiration for the interior design. The light, color, and form resembling a prairie are brought by the use of furniture, wallpaper, and textiles.

The design of these headquarter offices is made by professional designers, Aaron Leppanen and Veronica Burbano.

In everyday life, smoking food is the process of flavoring and cooking food. Then in this project, the designers realize that a mixture of flavors by the smoke coming out of natural ingredients can be created. Different ingredients’ smoke can create diverse flavors is the main inspiration to design Wild Cook Capsule.

This product can make drinks or food smoked. People can make their food smoked with lots of different natural materials to create a whole new scent and taste. The design of this capsule is totally flexible, a perfect product for the different tastes of foods around the world.

Ladan Zadfar and Mohammad Farshad are the two professional designers from Iran behind this product.

The inspiration of Steel City Tradeshow Highlight is to merge an easy to use and intuitive haptic interface with the necessity of visualizing extremely complex processes. The main goal is to create an installation that can deliver expert knowledge on point and also act as a visual highlight of the stand, maintaining the structural complexity of its professional use-cases too.

The unique rotary knob is used for the operation. This awesome knob is designed to adapt to every selected content, enabling the experts from Primetals to focus on the visitors. The users can trigger animated sequences on the led-wall by selecting one of 12 scenarios at four terminals. This wall visualizes the steel plant’s workflows in a firework of color and light.

Steel City blends all stories perfectly while terminals offer stunning and in-depth details to each user. This interface and interaction design project is designed by Responsive Spaces, a studio for design and technology from Austria.

This exhibition was held at the Alpine Botanical Garden in Alishan that has precious natural resources and great tea-making techniques. Descry Taiwan Exhibition New Consumption Pattern combines the arts and Taiwanese tea industry, offering a new approach to industrial transformation. It also creates a new image of the traditional industry to promote Taiwanese tea and impress tourists too.

Tourists can see some different expressions that conveying the same theme on each package. They also can have a deeper understanding of the Taiwanese tea industry and culture and enjoying the beautiful scenery of Taiwan at the same time. This exhibition displays various beauty of Taiwan through different materials and different printing techniques.

It is a fun board game that takes ancient Greek history, mythology, and fantasy movies aesthetics as the main inspiration for its artwork. Daedalus Maze Artwork and Packaging Board Game is a very addictive board game, taking the players to go back to Ancient Greece with Ancient Gods and Beasts.

The walls are moving and the maze rotates as the game started by the players. This spinning maze board consists of a board, circular transparency with traps, a 2 part strong plastic material placed over the circular transparency, pawns, dice, 5 pins to hold them together, and 68 cards.

This board game is designed in Greece and produced in China using PET and paper as the main materials, made by a professional designer from Greece: Andreas Kioroglou.

A nice irregular dot texture is also designed for meat lovers, separating the fluids from the meat. Each piece of this collection is designed with a reason and not only about shapes.

This awesome tableware collection is designed by Gemma Bernal, a professional design studio based in Barcelona with more than 40 years of experience in product design.

The inspiration for the entire design of Huafa Hills Residential Development comes from French manor-style. This style emphasizes the building’s embellishment in its awesome surrounding nature. The design features consist of beautiful aesthetic detail and also symmetrical layout that used to create a luxurious and comfortable living space, providing a sense of grandeur, romance, and elegance as well.

The aim of the master planning concept for this development is to embrace the habitat with a natural setting of lush greenery, landscape, and also an extensive water feature. The facade of this building is clad with beige granite to blend into the natural setting while the subtle facade details are designed to create a harmonious unity of nature and humanity.

This residential development is located in the north of Zhuhai and designed by Zhuhai Huafa Group Co.Ltd, a leading state-owned enterprise from Hong Kong (China).
