Office Building Speditionsstrasse 17 is a completed project of an office building by Ingenhoven Architects. With the time of day, the building’s character changes from highly transparent to solid.

Building

Situated at the end of a piece of land projecting into the Düsseldorf Media Harbour, this office building offers stunning views of the harbor. This area is one of the liveliest places in the city. There is also a unique view of the Düsseldorf Rhine with its old town and river promenade.

Design

From highly transparent to solid, the building’s character changes as time goes by and as the exterior anti-glare slats are completely lowered. The illuminated building becomes the harbor’s defining feature in the evening. All activities in fashion houses, agencies, and showrooms are on display awesomely.
