As four seasons eco-luxurious accommodations, Dômes Charlevoix offers a new concept and design of accommodation in Petite-Rivière-Saint-François, Canada. Designed by Bourgeois Lechasseur Architectes, this 2018 project comes with three domes and a new concept of accommodations that integrated into the landscape. Located on the mountainside, these accommodations are a perfect place for a holiday to enjoy the unspoiled nature.
Domes
These accommodations are located next to the Massif de Charlevoix, near Quebec City. There are three domes as the first phase of a larger tourist project, blend with the landscape harmoniously. Each dome is nestled on the mountainside and all of them can be accessed from the common parking lot at the entrance via a path through the trees.
Interior
The dome also houses a spa overlooking the natural setting and it is also set on a wooden patio. There is a south-facing windowed area with a stunning view of the St. Lawrence River. This area also maximizes exposure to natural light. A touch of comfort is added by the radiant concrete floor which also helps to maintain a more uniform temperature for the interior. A warm and cozy atmosphere comes from the fireplace and the grey canvas.
Details
Set in the center, a black streamlined service area consists of a bathroom with an Italian shower, the main bed, and also a kitchen. A second bed above this area can be accessed through the boat staircase. This project is a true invitation in harmony with nature and its all elements to experience luxury in the mountains area.
