The renovation of Rosic Apartment is inspired by the neighborhood’s history. Designed by Bloomint Interior Design in 2017, this apartment is located in Barcelona Spain. The minimalist interior in Rosic apartment is designed with the same contrast of the buildings in the Born district. This contrast is applied to the colors, lights, and materials of the apartment.
Interior
Bloomint tries to design a minimalist interior with a historical value of the neighboorhood. There are labyrinth-like streets in the Born district that create a beautiful contrast between Barcelona’s bright sunlight and the buildings’ shadow. This contrast is brought into the apartment by the architect.
Design
The design is innovative with valued respect to the essential and historic character of the old city apartment. Bloomint doesn’t work alone. They also gather the client creative input to make a perfect minimalist interior combined with the design inspired by the neighborhood’s history.
Details
All things in the minimalist interior of this apartment are matched well, creating different atmospheres based on every room purpose. With old, new, white, colors, light, and darkness, the minimalist look with the typical Spanish style can be made and applied easily to this apartment.
Bedroom
Just like the kitchen and bathroom, this bedroom is designed with patterned tiles and wood frame its window and door. The bed looks simple iron frame and dark headboard. The vintage wooden side table is placed near the door, creating a matching look with the wooden frame of the door and window.
Materials
The architect lets the natural look of the bricks show its beauty along the hallway to the bathroom. The same brick also can be seen in the bathroom but it is painted in white. Most of the furniture is made of wood, including the bathroom cabinet, bathroom sliding door, dining table, and long bench.
