Deloitte University: A Corporate Training Campus and Retreat Center for Deloitte LPP

SWA Group was appointed to design landscape architecture for Deloitte University in Westlake, Texas. Deloitte University functions as the corporate training facility and retreat center under Deloitte LPP.   Before the establishment of this 107-acre facility, Deloitte LPP held new employee training, continuing education workshops, and team building at various hotel sites throughout the United States.

The project consisted of building indoor/outdoor classroom facilities, recreation, and other retreat spaces for both trainees and staff.

By providing these facilities, they can easily conduct their learning and team building scenarios.

SWA Group opted for site selection and the landscape architecture to ooze a subtle ranch aesthetic.

The landscape architecture was also realized by considering the natural habitat and its resources, offering environmental education while supporting the functional needs of the Deloitte University.

The Relationship between Architecture and Architecture Landscape

The firm was able to create a seamless relationship between architecture and landscape architecture of the university.

To do so, the team in charge of the project integrated the large-scale building into the surrounding environment.

Nature blends seamlessly with the architecture of Deloitte University.

The horse-like figures made of a natural material to add a sense of ranch atmosphere to the site.
