House in Florida is a single-family residence located on the inner coast of Palm Beach, Florida. Designed by 1100 Architects, the house oozes casual luxury and modern simplicity. The project for this Palm Beach getaway was finished in 2012.

The House

Thanks to the expansive layout, the house can maximize flexibility and opportunity for both outdoor and indoor living.

With the strategic landscaping adopted by 1100 Architects, it enhances street-front privacy, shielding the front part of the house from the view.

As for the rear, it opens up to the backyard where the pool is located and the waterway is in the vicinity.

A Sense of Warmth

The firm incorporated wooden elements throughout the interiors.

Combined with the white stucco walls, they create a sense of warmth. The living room, dining area, and kitchen open up to one another and are organized in the center of the plan.

As per the clients’ requests, the bedroom suites are secluded from the social spaces and located in the corners.
