LineHouse was appointed to establish a new modern fast food identity for Lone Ranger, known as a hotdog shop located at the waterfront of Huangpu River, Shanghai, China. Completed in 2014, the shop comes with a Wild West theme and playful composition.
Lone Ranger
The entire façade was replaced with white timber weatherboards and raw timber. The new façade is able to create a playful composition.
The Exterior Composition
Focusing on the exterior, the firm decided to use opening doors and shutter panels.
When opened, the continuous tile on the floors and counters will be revealed. The exterior also comes with a sitting area for 6 people with other 6 seats inside the shop.
Bright Yellow Ceiling
The shop has 4m high ceiling void which is painted a bright yellow.
To further complement the look, a woven rope structure is also included to create an apparatus for the lights to hang from.
Arrowhead Motif
The aforementioned continuous tile showcases arrowhead motif.
The tile itself is custom made to adorn the Lone Ranger’s interior.
