In order to fulfill the needs of a young couple, Didonè Comacchio Architects remodels this apartment interior to create an environment suitable for their every day and working life. Interior LP is an interior project of 80sqm apartment located in the historic center of Castelfranco Veneto, Italy, on the first floor of a newly built residential complex.
Design
The spatial remodeling is especially done to the service areas. The functional space of these areas is updated and dedicated to the laundry room or the main bathroom. A small service bathroom is also added to the master bedroom. The main room is an open space that overlooks the outdoor terrace, an apartment space where the study/kitchen/living area is developed and expanded through the corridor elimination.
Interior
This interior project involves the custom-made furniture design with neutral colors and favors the experience of the material. The containment and hierarchizing the interior space are maximized without occluding while the natural light from the large windows is also exalted.
Details
The interior design of this apartment is characterized by references to Eastern minimalism based on the memory of the couple’s life in Southeast Asia. The interior is dominated in white and wood with white furniture and wooden floor. The result of this interior remodeling is a warm and comfortable space that is perfect for every day and working life.
